Sunday Morning Blessings Written August 7, 2011 8:58am
While I wait to get in to see Max I thought I would share a few thoughts. I realized that I had not put in writing a great blessing we received and I wanted to share.
The Wednesday after the acident, the 20th. I was in Max's room thinking about how I really needed a laptop. I was talking to God and trying to figure out what to do. I was trying to update people with my phone and Im not a great texter. I remember asking God which direction I should turn. I needed a fairly new laptop with WIFI access. Wow, who do you ask to borrow their laptop indefinately, oh and not their old outdated one. LOL I was still waiting on God to figure out which direction to ask. I walked out of the icu and sitting by my DAd was a laptop case. The kids came and told me that Johan Luebbering had brought a laptop by for them to use while we were here. It was loaded with movies and as the kids told me ~ way quicker than our internet at home! God is so good, he had this in motion before I even knew what I needed. I owe the Luebbering family so much, they have blessed us in so many ways, helping us, looking after our critters, but most of all their love and friendship.
There are so many things that God has done to re-affirm that he is here with us. I was on the phone one morning waiting for shift change and I saw someone wave at me from across the room. When I got off the phone I went over and it was Pastor Sam HInkle from our church in Warsaw. When the kids were younger and we went to the cabin more often that was our lake church. (and still is!) Pastor Sam was here because someone in the congregation had some grandbabies up here. There was going to be a surgery and that was what they were up here for. I explained to him what happened to Max annd he was able to go in and see Max and pray over him. Later that afternoon they were back in the waiting room and the lady that was with him realized they were in the wrong waiting room. They were in the wrong room at the right time.
God is so good!
