It's hard to believe it's been over a week since we came home.
It took 3 days but we have a new porch/driveway/ramp for the front of the house. The inside is taking a while to figure out. You really need a lot of room for a wheelchair, bed & lift. It seems like we are constantly moving them around to get things done.
Max's back and ribs are hurting him and to top it off his system is all out of wack and his stomach keeps bloating. My migraines have decided this week is the best time to try and knock me out.....I"m sure the stress of trying to figure things out is not helping.
I thought things would settle down once we left Rusk but we had someone different at the house every day last week. 3 nurses visited, 1 occupational therapist, 2 different physical therapists and one home health aide. The company that is providing these wonderful helpers called Friday and informed us that the health aide was not covered by insurance. I guess we will need to figure out what to do next.
We were able to enjoy the front porch yesterday. Ray barbequed some brats under Max's directions and the kids had fun staying up late laying outside.
This coming week will be a trip to the neuro surgeon and a ct scan to see how his back is healing. Hopefully they will release him to do more when he goes back to Rusk.
Til next time......be blessed!
