The nurses didn't think we should move to Rusk today because he still has lots of stuff in his lungs. They are going to teach me today how to suction out his lungs with the red rubber catheter. They have nurses at Rusk but they have to wait for respiratory to come and suction him. They don't want him to get over there and have a set back. It makes sense but it also makes the wait seem so much longer.
The good news is he spoke loudly this morning ~ it took everything I had not to cry. Heck, I"m trying not cry now. Talk about the things you take for granted. If our praise is like honey to God's ear, I have a small inkling of that joy he feels when we "talk" to him. Just amazing & indescribable. I would wear him out just to hear him speak.
So, another day off waiting, another day of joy, another day resting in the Lord.
