We had a great time at church Sunday & the dinner afterwards was pretty good too! Max needed a few items so we made a quick shopping trip. He needed some shoes he could get on and would have a heel so he could get on the auto ambulator ~ it's a machine that holds you up and makes your legs walk on the treadmill. Max called early this morning and they thought they were going to walk on it after noon but he just called and said his therapist wanted him to go do it now. The kids and I were going to go and watch his first time........but I guess we will have to see him "walk" another time. I sometimes drive a little to fast but even I'm not driving that fast. LOL It's neat that he's finally reaching that goal of getting on it. That's what he told his therapist the first day when we went in. "That's what I want to get on and use"!
Max's schedule for the rest of the day is:
8:30 - Occupational Therapy
9 - 10:30 Physical Therapy
10:30 - 11:00 Nursing
11 - 12 Spinal Cord Group
He did have the Auto Ambulator 12:45
1:30 - 2:00 - Circuit Group
3:30 - 4:00 Occupational Therapy
I pray everyone has a great day. I have more than enough to keep me busy today!
