Monday Morning Written October 17, 2011 9:51am
Last night was an Ephesians 6:13 night......
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
We went to bed with Max's stomach still swollen. Nothing the Doctor's were doing was working, nothing I was doing was working. Max woke up around 1 am and we debated on trying to do something but decided we would wait until the morning.
God is so good and he is so faithful. This morning his stomach was much smaller, he's eaten (is clear liquid really eating?) and he's doing fine. No more belching, no more swelling. I smile when I realize how the exciting things in my life have changed! You passed gas? Woo Hoo, high five!!! LOL
I believe Max is going tot see the gastro intestinal doctor for a consultation. I pray we will be going home soon.
Sometimes it's so hard to remember God isn't delayed ~ I want everything fixed and back to our old normal. But I know that even if everything was the "same" it wouldn't be because we have been changed because of what we have went through.
It makes me wonder if gold wants to be put through the fire to become more pure? I doubt it would volunteer for that one if it was animate and you asked it. In the same vein (ha,ha) I wonder if water would want to be purified? I know that for me to drink it and it refresh my body instead of making me sick it needs to be purified... Gold & water are happy where they are, they have to have external forces make them change. I don't think God brings bad things to his children, but because in this world satan can create havoc things happen. God can use those to bring us to a better, purer state if we let him. I think in the end that gold would be happier to be all shiny & water would enjoy not having all those nasty bugs swimming in it! I don't enjoy the process but I know that in the end I will be a better, stronger, more compassionate person because of what we are going through.
You all have a great day, we are going to enjoy where we are until we get to go home!
