Another Friday Morning Written August 5, 2011 7:50am
Well, I was up and at it early this morning. This is the first morning my body (translate hip) decided it really didn't like this lovely sleeping arrangement. I usually don't "feel" my age but every once in a while it seems to double up on me. LOL
There was several trauma's last night and the waiting room was full of people around 3 am. It's hard to sleep with people walking around and talking but you still manage to get some sleep.
Max had a good night. They got him ready and back for surgery pretty quickly. Now I'm just waiting to go back and see him again. He wrote me a note that I needed to get him out of here and get him to rehab on Monday. He has no idea I'm doing everything I can to get that to happen.
I'll be sure to let you know how our day went. My prayer is someday our lives will be so uneventful I won't need to update everyone......wishing that day would arrive sooner than later.
